Snow Sculpture of Sudarshan Patnaik at Sapporo

We all know Sudarshan Patnaik for his sand art , He has represented India in more than 50 sand sculpture championships and had won many of those, But for a Artist like Sudarshan Patnaik, Sand or Snow does not make any difference.

 Sudarshan Patnaik has also been creating sculptures with snow and has also participated in Snow festivals of Japan in the years 2002 and 2007 and recently he has also participated in Sapporo " 39th International  Snow sculpture contest held in Japan

Sapporo snow festival is being held from the year 1974 in Odori park site, Japan. since then lots of tourists start flocking to Sapporo in winter ,There are other amazing snow sculptures created by great artists from around the world. Hope Sudarshan will one day win the championship at sapporo too.
