5 inch is the latest craze when it comes to your mobile display size, Yeah I bought a 3.5 inch phone a year ago and get jealous to see my friends carrying that 5 inch android phones. Enough is enough I am desperate to dump my old mobile and bring myself a 5 inch android phone and started researching and found number of phones, So I am listing out here top seven android phones having 5 inch display

1) Samsung Galaxy Grand 

Samsung Galaxy Grand, As the name itself suggests is really grand with a Big 5 inch display and the resolution is 800 x 480 pixels. Sports a 8 Mega pixel Camera which can record full high definition videos and also has many great features like smile shot,Face and smile detection, buddy photo share and auto focus which are generally available only in high end digital cameras and It also is enable with touch wiz user interface which leads to flawless operation. 

Samsung Galaxy Grand comes with 1GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory expandable up to 64GB, With these many grand features The Lowest price of samsung galaxy grand is Rs 19,500 which is also grand. But As of now this is the best phone in the 5 inch android phone category

Samsung is very fast in understanding the customers choices and requirements, As it understood Above 20000 is a bigger budget, So it launched Galaxy Grand Quattro with a 4.7 inch screen, 1.2 Ghz Quad core processor and sports a 5 mp camera against 8 mega pixel camera in galaxy grand. Internal memory is 8 GB and memory expandable to 32GB. Galaxy Grand quattro has a tft screen supports hd recording, So it is wise option where you spend 3000 less than galaxy grand Yes!! samsung galaxy grand quattro is priced at rs 16,500/- in India, I think samsung galaxy win is the best Samsung galaxy grand alternative available in the Indian market.

3) Micromax Canvas  HD 

Micromax Canvas HD closely resembles Samsung Galaxy Grand, As you can see Canvas HD promises a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels against  Grand's 800 x 480 pixels, Both canvas HD and Galaxy Grand have a LCD screen But video recording is better in Grand, While coming to processor both the phones have the same 1.2 Ghz Quad core processor and The cameras are also same on both the phones 8MP primary camera and 2 MP secondary camera. But when it comes to Memory, Internal memory of Canvas HD is 1.77 GB  (while grand has 8GB) and expandable up to 32GB ( while grand has 64GB)

Micromax Canvas 2 A110 Fulfills the dream of having a 5 inch andriod phone without burning a hole in your pocket, But please don't expect it perform like Galaxy Grand. Canvas 2 a110 comes with 1 Ghz Dual core processor, let me stress it here !! it is a dual core processor . Remember it has a 512MB Ram and not a 1GB Ram like Galaxy Grand or Canvas HD. Coming to internal memory it has 2GB and expandable up to 32GB. 

But still there is one very much impressive thing, That is the price of Micromax Canvas2 A110 which is Rs 9999 ,, Yeahhh that's a four digit figure we all love to see the four digit figures while purchasing and 6 digits while earning hahha.. am I right brother !

5) Karbon S5 Titanium 

Karbon is also running the race to catch the 5 inch android phone market, So far it hasn't seen great success but is pricing its phones aggressively. S5 Titanium also sports a 5inch qhd display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels that's better than galaxy grand on paper. All these phones follow the bandwagon while tit comes to camera, i.e the 8MP primary cam and 2MP rear cam. IGB Ram and a Quad core processor are the same used in micromax canvas hd. But the internal memory is only 1.4GB expandable by 32GB

Karbon S5 Titanium is priced at Rs 12000 , midway to Canvas HD and Canvas 2 A100. 

6) XOLO A 1000

Yes XOLO A 1000 is selling well in india, Xolo A1000 features a 5inch display and is powered by a 1Ghz Dual Core processor and when it comes to camera it is as good as Canvas HD having a 8MP Primary camera and a 1.2 MP Secondary camera, It is supported by 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory and 32GB expandable memory, It also has dual sim functionality

Being not a well established brand still Xolo A100 sells at a price of 13,500 in spite of using a dual core processor which is inferior to canvad hd, galaxy grand and Samsung win i8552. 

7) Intex acqua 5.0

If you are on a tight budget but fancy a 5 inch android smart phone , You may consider buying Intex acqua 5.0 at rs 8999/- which has 5 inch display, powered by 1Ghz dual core processor , supported by  512 MB RAM, and enables you with internal memory of  2GB, expandable to 32gb, while coming to camera Intex acqua has a decent 5MP Primary Camera and a 1.3MP Camera with auto focus, Intex Acqua 5.0 is one of the few 5 inch andoid phones below rs 10000

Apart from the above mentioned phones there are few more phones like Intex Acqua wonder which is 5.9" android phone avaialble below rs 10000 , Iball Andi 5L available at Rs 10,000 and Karbon Titanium S2 available at Rs 10,800

In my opinion I will recommend to go for Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro priced at rs 16,500 if you are more quality conscious and recommend Intex Acqua 5.0 which is priced at Rs 10,000 if you have budget constraints
