Gudi Padwa is celebrated in Maharshtra every year in the month of march, This year is is celebrated on 23 rd March 2012. Marathi people celebrate this as a marking of new year where they hang a green or yellow cloth over the tip of the bamboo stick along with sugar crystals, neem leaves, mango leaves and garland of flowers is tied up and hangs out of the windows are displayed before the maharashtrian house holds. wish you all a hapy gudi padwa
